We’re incredibly proud to announce that The Eve Fries Foundation has been selected as a winner of the 2026 Cubs Charities Community Awards, presented by the Robert R. McCormick Foundation!

This $10,000 grant is more than a financial award. It gives us the opportunity to do more to level the playing field for young female athletes—to expand access to the game and create places and spaces where girls can build confidence, develop leadership, and learn lessons that stay with them long after the final inning.
